If you are looking for a quiet relaxing, peaceful site with clean facilities then BRAMBLE HILL is the place for you. Birds are abundant and you will hear their morning chorus. The main entrance gates are locked each night to ensure no visitors arrive at midnight. Radios and televisions are requested at low volume only. We regret we have no play area for children and request small children are accompanied to the toilet block by an adult. Ball games by permission only.

Altogether there are 40 pitches to accommodate tents, motor caravans and touring caravans. A wide gravel drive leads from the road along one side of the open field and round the house into another area where the toilets are situated.

Facilities include: A modern ladies' washroom with 3 wc's, 4 washbasins, all with instant hot water, kitchen unit with washing-up facilities, freezer, hair dryer on request and five showers.

There are 2 shaver points available for gents. The site also offers electric hook-ups for caravans and fresh water from taps around the site with several green and brown rubbish bins at various points. There is no shop on site, but Sainsbury's, just 5 minutes away by car, is open 7 days a week.

Dogs are permitted on leads at all times on a charge of 1.00 per day.

For those who prefer to relax with a quiet drink or nice meal there is the "Pike & Musket" restaurant with children's play area, 200 yards away on the main A39 within walking distance.

What you will also find in the area are interesting places to visit like Clarks Village which is just 1 mile from the site and offers famous brands factory outlets at bargain prices. There is also a shoe museum.

Street also offers 2 swimming pools - indoor and outdoor. Glastonbury, the birth place of Christianity in Britain and the site of a once great Abbey is on the A39 just to the north-west of Street and if you continue for a few miles along the same road you come to Wells and its famous Cathedral. Nearby is one of the country's natural wonders, Wookey Hole, a remarkable complex of caves and Cheddar Gorge is just a few miles away.

These are all very close to the site but you don't have to travel much further to visit Cricket St Thomas wildlife park, Longleat or the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton and of course the historic Tor of Glastonbury.

The nearest seaside resorts are Weston-super-Mare and Minehead with Butlins  holiday camp, while to the north west are the extensive sands at Brean, Berrow and Burnham on Sea. Walkers too will find some beautiful country to explore hereabouts. The Mendip hills are visible from the site as is Glastonbury Tor. Cheddar and Wookey Hole Caves are a mere 12 miles from Bramble Hill.

Extras: Awning, Additional Person, Children, Hook-up from 2 p.n.
