The Vincent Finance Company was formed in1948, originally to provide hire purchase funding for the group and to benefit our customers with all in-house facilities. In 1954 our company under the direction of Paul Vincent entered into the newly formed contract hire market. The market continued to grow, with Vincents increasing their fleet to a peak of 1200 vehicles.

During the nineties the contract hire market became flooded with suppliers and with the manufacturer's resorting to distress selling, this resulted in too many vehicles chasing too few customers.

A consequence was very little room for the smaller firms such as ourselves to expand our business. We looked for ways to increase our competitiveness and through our various funding partners, have regained our competitive edge and moreover, we are able to provide a high level of customer service and vehicle management expertise.
