Sat 10 May | Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge
Take on our iconic charity cycle ride across Dorset and Somerset on Saturday 10th May 2025.
Coast to Coast (C2C) is an annual cycle challenge organised by Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. It is a charity fundraising event, raising vital funds to help critically ill or injured patients.
The event has two routes:
- 55-mile route - Watchet to West Bay. Elevation Gain: 1,027 m.
- 11-mile route - Drimpton to West Bay. Elevation Gain: 73 m.
The challenging 55-mile route starts at Watchet Harbour in Somerset and ends at West Bay on the South coast of Dorset. Following a scenic route through the beautiful Somerset and Dorset countryside. With a mixture of quiet back roads, demanding climbs and hairy descents.
The more leisurely 11-mile route starts at Drimpton and ends at West Bay in Dorset.
There are various pit stops along the route for cyclists to grab refreshments. The pit stops are also safe areas for friends and family members to show their support.
With the support of West Somerset and West Dorset District Councils, we pride ourselves on offering an event which is registered and insured with British Cycling.
